Angelique McKay

What's yer name? *smiles* Salut! *The small, older woman looks up from her script, speaking with a slight French accent* Angelique McKay.
Dat what people call ya, or d'ya got a nickname? *smiles warmly* It is just Angelique. Or Mrs. McKay, if you must be formal.
Whaddaya look like? *laughs slightly, the proverbial tinkling bells sound. Blinks with surprise when she realizes you're serious*Oh. Well. Ah... My hair is light brown *smiles* though it is starting to go a bit gray now. My eyes are dark blue and my skin is fair. I am a bit short...around five feet and three inches, I believe. *She was obviously a genuine beauty in her youth, with delicate features and dancer-like grace, and is still attractive*
How old are ya? *smiles mischievously* Were you not ever told it is not polite to ask a lady her age? *realizes you may think she's actually offended. Smiles, because she's not* I am forty six years.
What kind of work d'ya do? Actor, stagehand, what? ((Angelique has yet to answer this question.))
Got any experience at dat? An' how'd ya end up heah, anyway? *smiles at the memory* I came here with a touring company twenty-five years ago, playing Viola in Twelfth Night...it was The Rose's first show. John McKay swept me off my feet, so I stayed here and joined the stock company rather than finishing the tour. *shrugs gracefully* And I have been here ever since.
How 'bout tellin' us a little 'bout yerself? Ya know, what kind of personality ya got? *smiles* I am nice, I believe. I try to be friendly to everyone and make them comfortable here. Though I do have a little bit of a temper. *slightly mischievous smile* Ask my son if you do not believe... he has been on the receiving end of it many times. *smiles warmly* But I am usually a good person, I think. *Angelique McKay is a lady in the truest sense of the word. She is polite and friendly to all people, regardless of their social station, believing that everyone is deserving of respect. She loves her son very much and worries that he works too hard.*
Any special talents? *laughs a bit* Well, I am told I make excellent cheesecake.
