What's yer name? |
* A very slight
girl, with long light brown hair carefully pinned up on the back
of her head looks up. She studies your face for a moment with
observant pale green eyes and then drops her gaze to her hands
quietly folded in her lap* My name's Dinah Osborn. |
Dat what people call ya, or d'ya got a
nickname? |
*nods slightly* Yes that's what people call
me... I've never had a nickname, my mother thought they weren't
lady-like. |
Whaddaya look like? |
*shrugs
lightly, obviously rather uncomfortable when talking about
herself* I, um... well, you can see for yourself, can't you?
*raises her sage green eyes from her hands and looks at you a
moment before dropping her gaze again. She has soft, light-brown
hair, that when let down falls to her mid back in lose curls. She
has pale smooth skin, and a slight build appearing very delicate* |
How old are ya? |
*bites her lip*
Nineteen, as of April 18. |
What kind of work d'ya do? Actor,
stagehand, what? |
I'm the costume mistress... It
seems almost.. well... *flushes slightly* Both Judith
and Rebecca are older then I am... *quietly* And...
and I'm not that good...at telling people what to
do... *what Dinah lacks in assertiveness, she makes up
in efficiency. She's very good at organizing and
design as well sewing and the basic book work that
comes with the costume shop. Above everything,
though, she finds doing detail work to be a release
and spends most of her free time concentrating on what
most would probably consider to be tedious* |
Got any experience at dat? An' how'd ya
end up heah, anyway?
| *Slight nod, quietly* Yes, I've
been sewing all my life. I used to do special orders at home,
with my mother, but they decided that since I'm engaged and
almost all grown up I was ready to take on the responsibility of
an out-side job. |
How 'bout tellin' us a little 'bout
yerself? Ya know, what kind of personality ya got? |
*Swallows, noticeably nervous at this question* A--about
myself... nothing really, I'm what you see. *Dinah has what she
feels to be an almost unbearable home life. Her mother is a
perfectionist and puts unfair amounts of pressure on her only
daughter. Her father co-owns a very small law firm, and she was
forced into an engagement with the younger partner of the firm,
who is her senior by ten years. Di nah is terrified of her
fiancee, who is over protective and irrational-- hitting her
regularly and never letting her go out alone. None of this is
know by anyone out side her family, though Richard (her fiancee)
does walk her to and from the theatre* As for my personality...
well, there isn't much to that either. I always make sure to be
polite and treat people, as I would hope to be treated by them. |
Any special talents? |
*shakes her
head* Nothing special really, I just sew. *she would never
brag, but she's very good at what she does. |
